FOR THOSE WITH THE VALIDATION LOOP ISSUE

EA sucks, but this is the main fix I found for this issue.

Type:

Windows + R and type regedit

Go to Computer>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Respawn>Titanfall2

"Install dir" is what we are looking for.

In file explorer, locate where on your PC Titanfall 2 is and copy the adress (as text). Should look something like Steam\steamapps\common\Titanfall2

Copy this and go back to the regedit window. Right click on Install dir > Modify and change it to the installed directory and hit "ok"

For me, it said it was still looking for an Origin directory, which is no longer a thing so thats why it was failing.

This didn't work for me, it's still looping the EA "preparing game tab"

I've also made sure all my Microsoft C++ files were good, checked with Steam that the game files are good, tried uninstalling and installing EA launcher over and over again, restarting my device over and over again, un-installed and reinstalled Titanfall 2 over and over again, from both steam and EA, I tried another recommendation where someone said that the titanfall 2 file needed to be copied from steam to the EA app download folder. Anything else I can try? I'm on a Lenovo Legion Go

Ah man I'm not sure then sorry, I tried all those things and had no luck. This was the only thing that worked for me :/ I guess you could try EA support like I did, but be prepared for them to try run you through all the things you've already done :(

Dude you're a life saver. My origin launcher just stopped working after this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows update so I had to get EA again... as we all know, EA sucks. Thought I lost my Titanfall 2 until I came across this. Appreciate you!
