You can play every difficulty whenever you want. The real problem is usually Titans lvl, just max the one you are using before max difficulty.
Normal - Hard is a big jump
Hard - Master not so much of a diff.
Insane - Require full players to have fully maxed out titans, and you need to know all of the map placement for each utility, and best camp-save pos for your exact titan (for that look solo Frontier Defense in Youtube how people solo finishing almost every map)

Grunt squads all get mobile shiedls like the big guys in the campaign, titans use their abilities more, Stalkers sprint a little more and spam EPGs a little more, reapers will be more ratty, and I believe all titans get their real game health instead of artificially decreased numbers (overshields as well on master) also your anti titan ammo is limited, no minimap.

- I have custom binding so I don't know what your bind is.
- Placing mines and luring enemies on-to-it. (+ check guides there are ton of possible info or it's cons etc)

- 11.5% -12% per second for shield (or close to this), 55-57% for laser, 32-35% for mines.
- His split do have increased hitbox - i's a 5-10 degree con instead of line hitscan projectile.

Itās only worth playing on lower level frontier defense missions to learn the spawn points for each wave and the map layout if not known, EX: Angel city wave five has hard reaper spam at the shoreline. Beside that as long as your titan has a good enough aegis rank you should try the higher difficulties, trust me lower difficulties get mad boring past aegis 4-5 for most titans.
Yes, higher level frontier defense missions increase enemy health, also on hard and above things like mortar specters gain a shield facing the harvester, there are more of these things but generally higher difficulty = more health and new things they can do.
No, frontier defense is a very unique mode, but if you still want the titan gameplay modes like LTS (Last Titan Standing) and TB (Titan brawl) are modes built solely around titan gameplay, note that aegis upgrades only apply to frontier defense.
Ion has a half bug half not thing where entering and exiting fully refills energy, combine it with phase embark (Pilot kit that makes you embark and exit your titan faster) and you effectively have infinite energy.
I canāt say for sure, I donāt play Ion often and even then I play on controller so I donāt know what ability is being referenced.
No, Ion is best played at mid to long ranges, the main downside of Ion is her energy and when itās low or empty you effectively have no way to fight, keep the enemy away as they can pressure you and your energy more effectively at close range.
Probably a energy sheet somewhere but I donāt know the exact values personally.
No, Monarch is the ONLY titan that can refresh their dashās and abilities on command.
You can dash when laser core is charging but thatās it, once itās firing all other titan functions excluding basic movement, turning the camera, and ejecting will be disabled, as to why the duration seems random is because you must have gotten her final aegis upgrade that refills the duration on titan kill.
Nah, Monarch and effectively all titans donāt have to change their kits based on the map for the most part.
Outside of Rearm (Your utility ability) there is no way to reduce the cooldown.
It can only lock on with the related Tier 3 core upgrade, I donāt recall the name because honestly it sucks ass compared to the other two.
Presuming your talking about energy siphon/the blue beam, it still stuns enemies and does damage (however it does like 100 damage, for reference this is not even a quarter of a pilots health as far as I know)
Not sure, do note that certain monarch upgrades increase base damage values, but I donāt really know exact values, youāll probably learn over time.
You canāt (mostly) outside a monarch upgrade that lets energy siphon give shield to teammates (which isnāt close to being worth it over arc rounds) there is just batteries (you can find them on the ground in certain modes or by rodeoing a enemy titan and pulling the battery out, rodeo a friendly titan while you have a battery to give it to them).
Correct, the glowing red spot on titans (Also known as the weak point/ Crit point) increases damage dealt, and is the only way for certain pilot weapons to deal damage, know that scorchās tempered plating kit and monarchs tier 3 core upgrade āSuperior chassisā remove these weakpoints.
Outside hitting the weak points no, the best way to do damage is unique to every titan matchup and is changed more by titan kits, outside aggressive sustained combat (Not advised for all titans) youāre better off learning yourself.
You can not hurt your team in any direct way, however you can deal damage to yourself.
Electric smoke works fine on Reapers but they try to dodge it, Ronins have sword block which heavily mitigates all forms of damage and smoke already does low damage.
Ion can handle a few reapers but they quickly overwhelm her energy pool, your better of if you fall back and call for help, as for ronins they can easily kill Ion if they have the slightest semblance of a brain, avoid roninās if possible.
Put arc traps in a line/path to the harvester to maximize the effect, keep them distanced to they donāt all go off at once or the effect is weaker.
No, the Arc trap was recharging or they were outside of its range.
Nah, A-wall has a less than twenty or so seconds time active and limited health.
Yes but describing the optimal turret spots for every map is hard and long, pay attention to where your team does usually and youāll learn over time.
Drones are meant to suck, let a Ronin/Scorch take them as they are both very effective drone killers, turrets are as well. However drones uhhh, they will wreck the harvester if left alone so kill them when you see one, they always die to one melee hit so if theyāre close by punch them dead.

According to your suggestions ad the info in reddit, It seems i'd better try the (frontier defence) level ā„hard after i can control the titan more proficently...maybe at least until i can pass the level <hard da solo? Cuz i'm not familiar with the map yet T_T...then i maybe can try other modes in the northstar server.

I have enough patience for titans and learn how to use them more proficiently then step by step utilize to maximize their different skills while playing.
The quality of this game isn't reflected by the era in which it was released. The designs of each characters in ttf2, they're still excellent until today!!!
