Does the multiplayer work now? Is the DDoS over?

Hey everyone. I stopped playing titanfall 2 a few years ago bc some DDoS attack destroyed the servers, and made it impossible to play online. It's been a while now, so I'm wondering if things work again here on Steam, before I try downloading the game. Thx!

yes they fixed it back in 2023 after 3 years of ddos attacks. Servers are online and working

If you cannot connect to the servers means you're running the game on a newer cpu that has issues with the old OPENSSL protocol the game uses for multiplayer authentication:

Ya the servers are up I have been playing and you may join servers that have sweats but at least you can play again

Servers are still up but multiplayer is still fairly dead tho in 2025....

I don't play PVP, so can't comment on the community there. But since they addressed the ddos attacks, I don't have long waits for PVE. Sometimes I have to back out and go back in to refresh the search, but generally I find matches instantly or quickly.
