Coop PvE mode? Worth for Single Player? DLC worth?

Love shooters, love mechas, hate PvP.

Its just 3€ so i guess i would lost nothing, but still would like to know if it has some coop or PvE modes, and what about single player. Heard the campaign is great but very short. Are there bots or any other game modes to play solo or coop, after being donde with campaign?

Extra: Also! almost forgot, what about the DLCs? purely cosmetic, or some of them is actually new playable content? any DLC worth it?

Got the game, and figures: it still ask for a mandatory Origin / EA account and installing its own launcher. Im not up for installing third party stuff, not to make and account for a third party/store as im not even buying from their store, so...

I thought the Origin stuff was kinda dead, but nope, its still there, somehow, haunting games like this one.

The single player campaign is more than worth it, one of the best imo - I am not sure about the DLCs, I think they just come with different Titans you can run in multiplayer. There is a coop tower defence type game where its 4 players vs AI, it's a lot of fun if you have friends or can find some people to play with. You also get to try out all the different titans and find your play style (tank, melee, dps, ranged, support etc)

I just picked up the game again after playing it 3 years ago and it's just as good as I remember

The single Player Campaign is ok to good or even very good, depending on you taste.

I nearly only play coop in multiplayer, Frontier Defense it is called. You and three others defend a machine against attackers. Some are using artillery, so, no slacking around the target objective all the time.

Sometimes I go vanilla.
The "normal" multiplayer has like 10 different modes, not sure, I am guessing here.
Some completely without titans, some only with titans, some where you can get a titan if you do enough damage as a pilot (foot soldier).

The game is great.

The first 20 levels of each titan it gets better. So it is fun to progress all the titans.

Be careful with youtube videos about the game. There are people who have no idea about Frontier Defense and do not tell you that their videos are only about normal multiplayer and tell you all kind of tactics which will make your gameplay harder than necessary in Defense.

Did I say already, that the game is great and super and I like it?

If you can't go to multiplayer, you have to fiddle around.
Something about setting an environment variable if you have a certain kind of CPU:

Not sure though.. kind of guessing here.

Oh, and did I say something about how good the game is and how much fun it is to play and to even lose a map? Because if you lose, it means hell is loose and you had fun. :-)

All dlcs are cosmetic only, and some paid weapon skins that can be purchase in game with real $$ may give 2 exp tokens only if you play and complete the match whatever win or lose.

I was wondering if this was mostly a PVP game. I am more of a single player guy. If the single player campaign is as good as people say it is, then it is worth the buy and time invested.

Going to get it now especially since it is on sale.

- The PvP is ok, fun from time to time.
- Reason to buy the game is the COOP-Mode Frontier Defense.
- The campaign is only like 4 hours or so and I would really only buy it at cheap price like now for the campaign. It is good, no question, but not 20 Euro good in my opinion.
