What if theres something on your computer stopping the game for what ewer resone and not the game it selfe? Maybe check for any broken/currupt files and other things?

Did you find any solution? I am currently facing the same issue: Starting the game and then it just keeps "Validating" the game but does not actually start it.

this is the fix that worked for me:

Windows + R and type regedit

Go to Computer>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Respawn>Titanfall2

"Install dir" is what we are looking for.

In file explorer, locate where on your PC Titanfall 2 is and copy the adress (as text). Should look something like Steam\steamapps\common\Titanfall2

Copy this and go back to the regedit window. Right click on Install dir > Modify and change it to the installed directory and hit "ok"

For me, it said it was still looking for an Origin directory, which is no longer a thing so thats why it was failing.

Hope this helps :)
