If I buy Elite weapons, do I have to use/equip them to get bonus?

The extra 10% chance for merits and 2x exp share tokens. I can just spend $15 to get 3 of them, never use the skins or the guns, and I'll still get that 30% bonus chance for me and all my teammates, right? Or do I have to equip and even use them?

Because I like getting more Exp. Do I have to actually "use" the weapon for at least one life or just have it equipped in one of my ten slots?

No, actually, just owning a weapon's elite gives you a 10% chance of a "Squad Leader bonus" even if you never use the weapon or the skin. you can increase it to 30% chance by buying up to 2 more, but after that it does not change.

if you bought the game on steam, you have one, and occasionally you'll get a double EXP token at the end of a match, in either PvP or PvE. I have the Deluxe Edition skin and I never use it, I still get SLBs and double EXP tokens.

I suppose it doesn't count for Prime titans then, only weapons?

This game has a lot of mods. Look it up on google :) There is some crazy stuff. Like animated weaponskins etc.
