Is it PvP only or is there a PvE campaign ?

There's SP Campaign, PVP and Wave Based PVP.

The only PvE mode is frontier defense where 4 pilots fight a wave of all pve npcs, and the difficulty can be set from easy to insane (in insane the AI operates like in the high difficulty in the campaing), of rest the game is single player or PvP in different modes

for example the attrion mode is PvPvE. the Ai there tend to be regular/hard skill set or mixed. Pilots skills are other story

Is it normal that max video res is only 1368x768 ?

there is a 4 player co-operative mode where 4 players face off against increasingly hard waves of enemy NPCs up to a certain point. There is also a fantastic single player campaign as well.

PVE single player, horrde mode, and you can play a pvp mode that spawns ai solo just fighting the grunts/robots/titans (depends on the mode) that spawn as you kill them.

Not unless that is how big your monitor is, mine is 1920x1080.
