How does stim affect a Simulacrum?
I recently bought TF|2 and noticed that the stim Pilot model is very clearly a simulacrum. The stim ability is clearly a chemical stimulant as seen by the icon and presumably the screen effects that appear when using one, so how does it affect the performance of a clearly robotic body???

It kind of reminds me of those videos of people applying a high voltage to robotic toys which causes their normal movements to speed up insanely fast.

I wonder if the "chemical stimulant" is some sort of super-charged-voltage-juice that allows the simulacrum to zoom around as it pleases?

Realistically, however, it's likely that it acts as fuel. Think of the Cars movies; Let's say Lightning McQueen chugs a gallon of gasoline and is suddenly re-energized. It's probably something similar. Either that or stims are just robot drugs.

Haha thanks guys. I like your creative thinking, and I suppose in hindsight it makes more sense that the stim pilot is mechanical and the stim itself is mechanical or electrical. Generally, chemical human stimulants kill you immediately after they make you run fast, whether by outright frying your brain or simply damaging it to the point where you're too busy tripping to care about the big robot that's about to bury youin thermite. A robot could probably keep up until it runs out of battery/chemical and must recharge, or overheats, etc., and without losing cognitive function all the while.
