Stuck in validation loop on launch (upd. might be solved)

Just got this game from sale and created an EA account for it - and it won't launch. Instead it just keeps validating files, but nothing more. Already tried cleaning caches, updating EA app and reinstalling the game - no go. If anyone who has also encountered this came to overcome it - how exactly did you do that?
