i just bought this game it was fun but multiplayer is kinda dead it takes 10min to find a match and everyone is pro, wish i bought it at launch

I never had to wait nearly that long, maybe if I try to queue for some less popular modes. Attrition is always popular.
Maybe try PvE (Frontier Defense) as well.

If you queue for all game types, 1-3m queue time. 10m is a bit out of touch. The Steam player count from what I've observed over the last 48 hours is swinging between 4-6K people. Far from "dead."

I wouldn't say everyone is "pro" - but it's certainly plagued by people *blatantly* cheating lol and not even trying to hide it. Aimbot/Walls. Clear as day on the kill feed.

You're really not missing much on the MP front at this point. Compared to when the game was current, it's pretty fkn' abysmal at this point.

Frontier Defense is still serviceable with reasonable queue times.

You are absolutely right. There is no type of anticheat at all and the aimbotters in this are fanatical. The minimap shows your direction if you fire. I cannot tell how many times someone is going one direction and then auto turns to shoot at me when I HAVEN'T fired a shot. Garbage game for competitive.

I can understand it. Being so under-skilled you don't get a chance to get a kill can be pretty frustrating to some, especially when you don't have a lot of time on your hands. Only advice I could give him is spend what little time he may have getting good, or just find a different game. Hopefully he got it on sale.

Yeah same bought the game and finished campaign but the only multiplayer game that's even possible to queue is pve frontier
