Guess no multiplayer for me

So trying to go online is just locked saying "origin is offline"
Not on Intel CPU but tried that fix anyway, no dice
I can connect to data centres no issue but can't go multiplayer, this is both on vanilla and with Northstar installed.
Anyone got that issue and hopefully a solution to it?

I believe it is because Origin was discontinued since this game came out. (This game is from 2016). So I think you need to uninstall Origin and manually install the newer EA app that supersedes it.

Yes, I have EA app installed
It's just the UI element in the game saying "origin" because no one updated the game just to change that line
(It would also be pretty sure impossible to not have EA app when running through Steam since the installation files include EA app client and specifically call for it when launching)

Shot in the dark but I heard you have to complete 4 campaign missions or so to unlock MP.
Maybe you've already tried but figured I'd suggest.

Finished the campaign already, but I guess I could retry playing the introduction missions and see does it change anything since I started it off old cloud save that was already in progress

Hmmm. Both Vanilla and Northstar don't work for you and it says "Origin is offline" So this makes me think the problem is related to your EA login not connecting or an issue with the game on your PC not able to connect properly. Like a firewall issue or something. Not sure what exactly it is but it seems to be in that area that is your problem.

You might also want to try and manually uninstall the EA app, manually re-download and install it on your own (https://www.ea.com/ea-app), log in with your account and see if you can now connect in TitanFall.

Gotta try these things one at a time. I think you will eventually get it working but gotta figure out where the problem lies.

Yep, I'm at a loss here because I attempted reinstalling EA app multiple times, ensured to clean up any stale registry entries (which was an issue with even launching the game), checked and confirmed firewall is not interfering with anything.
Somewhat insightful was Northstar client error log, because when trying to authenticate with game's servers it got "Couldn't find player account" error from masterserver, sadly I don't know enough about Northstar to determine was it in relation to their own masterserver or game's

Ugh. Gross. You are going to have to contact EA support unfortunately. It is no wonder most people hate having to use secondary app launchers. What you are dealing with is a prime example as to why. What a pain in the ass.

So I happened to come across a very recent Titanfall video on Youtube just now discussing how the game is back and active. There was a section mentioned talking about if you are having issues with the EA app that there is a way around it. I wasn't even aware of this.

Here is the youtube video I am referring to that mentions this. It has links in the description for the "F$%k_off_EA_App" (lol). At 2.40 minute mark he talks about if you are having problems with the EA App and how to get around it.

Tried this, now when launching I get "file corruption detected" error, woefully unhelpful.
Thankfully Northstar is once again there to save the day with a better error log saying "Origin seems to be running, but the LSX authentication challenge failed"
When launching through Steam with - Northstar argument I get the same "origin is offline" and "couldn't find player account" errors when trying to access multiplayer
