How do I open the console?

Please help guys. I have tried adding the -console and changing the keybind. it wont open :(

To enable the in-game console on a non-US keyboard laout, you need to rebind it manually:
- Open this file:

%userprofile%\Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\local\settings.cfg

- Search for the line

bind "`" "toggleconsole"

- Change it like this to make F5 your console key:

bind "F5" "toggleconsole"

Keep in mind the console can only be bound to "`" (tilde key) or one of the function keys "F1" - "F12"
