The game is alive despite what doomsayers claim and it's really fun if you actually bother to learn the game and don't just drop it because you aren't handed free wins.
For the Multiplayer it might take you about 20 seconds to get into a game during daytime hours.
Peaktimes you usually instantly get a match.
That said playing outside the active hours results in long wait times taking up several minutes for a match to start.
It's a small playerbase but it's active.
Works perfectly fine.
