Was gonna get this game. Know the campaign is amazing but I was also very interested in the PVP. Steam charts says its got only 4-6k players during peak times. Are the wait times very long?

almost dead, and this games matchmaking system is really stupid. always make unbalanced team. don't buy this.

This game is must have on 80%+ sale for campaign only. As for multiplayer, since they fixed it, you can easily find lobbies in main mode attricion any time of day, but might face some problems finding lobbies for some other modes. Overall, this game is worth getting on sale for each of its elements separately if you're not interested in both.

The game is alive despite what doomsayers claim and it's really fun if you actually bother to learn the game and don't just drop it because you aren't handed free wins.

Just bought the game and it took me 5 minutes to queue up. Worth 5 bucks for the campaign.

Attrition alone is the most populated gamemode, and you can get matched up in a minute at tops

multiplayer is perfectly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fine. it was even before respawn started fixing it recently

Don't know what all these guys above are on about.
For the Multiplayer it might take you about 20 seconds to get into a game during daytime hours.
Peaktimes you usually instantly get a match.
That said playing outside the active hours results in long wait times taking up several minutes for a match to start.

It's a small playerbase but it's active.

It can depend on the data server you connect to and the time of day. The game is well worth it and since the server revival, have been able to play 10s of multiplayer games each day.
Works perfectly fine.

Even when it dips to 3k I can always find a game. Just gotta change your region. The lag (almost) isn't even that big of a deal.
