Game won't launch 2023-05-03

I see an a blank grey EA window pop up and then it quits a few seconds later. EA background service process launches and stays running afterwards.
It was working fine last week and nothing should've changed since then on my end.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Restarting steam wasn't enough but restarting the PC seemed to work (or maybe something was fixed on EA's end)

Same problem for me. I've tried pretty much every "fix" I've found on google and nothing has worked.

wish EA just give up and release their games through steam every month there is an issue with this ♥♥♥♥♥ launcher how you mange to make something worse than origin

Like I've said, restarting my PC worked for me.

It's working now for me, at least. I didn't restart my computer or anything for a few hours although I did resinstall EA a couple times. I think they may have had some kind of server error on their side. Still would have been nice to know about it!

Just open the ea app and logging in worked for me

I am logged into both my steam and EA account and when i click play on TF2 a new EA window pops up and then says "Something went wrong...
To continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over."

there is no where to head back to and no way to link my accounts it seems since everywhere i check says to link accounts launch a ea game in steam and it will do it itself...

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm validating the files through STEAM as I type this. The first time I tried to launch the game, I got a message that said a .dll file was missing (or something along those lines). But then, like an idiot, I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled, and now it's still not working.

Update: No matter what I do, I can't get the game to launch. Whether I try from STEAM of the EA client, the game tries to launch, but it ever actually boots into the game window.

In what I've noticed when encountering this problem, I disable the EaBackgroundService.exe in Task Manager if this happens, this allows the game to launch normally
It works for me, but my friend tried this and didn't get any results

I had the same issue head to the game go to local files and launch titanfall2 exe from there and it should boot fine that fixed it for me

I am able to launch the game but when i select "continue", the loading screen comes on and then it closes the game. And if i launch the game from the local file, it opens EA and thats it; also cant find my game in EA. it says i have to purchase it, although its on steam library.
