Been a right blast from the past.
Open File Explorer > This PC >Select "Properties" > Advanced System Settings > Environment Variables > Create a "New" system variable under this tab:
Variable Name: OPENSSL_ia32cap
Variable value: ~0x200000200000000
Then restart your computer.
What this does is disables processor acceleration on OpenSSL applications, which Titanfall 2 cannot handle. Titanfall 2 is not the only game with this issue, as several other popular multiplayer games that came out more than a few years ago also suffer this issue. There will be no affect on your PC doing this.
