Titanfall 2 is dead -- DDOS attack - Unplayable

DO NOT BUY. The DDOS finally made it from consoles to PC. I bought this game on Origin when it first came out and its a disappointment to see it end this way. The beginning of July is when the DDOS attacks got worst. Fun game, but its time to move onto something else. Battlefield???

This is not a DDoS attack. It's just that EA company shut down 80% of the servers. The so-called DDoS does not exist for such a long time. After all, the cost of DDoS attack is very high, and no one is an idiot

I'm not a computer engineer or anything (yet), but I'm absolutely sure that isn't what happened. If internet regions were down because EA shut them down, they would be removed as options (or simply not work). It has been proven that you CAN join any available region, the issue is that lag spikes massively whenever connectivity has been established between players. When a server is down, it does not allow for use in the servers only until additional players join a match--it would never even allow the initial connection in the first place. Observe the Sydney region, if you will, to find out exactly what happens when you try to join a legitimately discontinued server region. I'll wait.

The European servers must've missed the memo. I swapped my data center from South Carolina to Belgium and can play multiplayer perfectly fine albeit with a slightly higher ping and sometimes losing connection to server while in the multiplayer menu.
