Launcher DLL error. Game unplayable. [SOLVED]

Just bought this. Trying to run it for the first time. Getting an error saying it failed to load the launcher DLL at C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Titanfall2\bin\x64_retail\tier).dll"

I've tried repairing the game files, uninstall and reinstall, launching from origin after uninstalling and reinstalling origin, restarting my computer and steam. All give the same error. Any help would be appreciated.

wait, I got mine working. idk if it'll help you or not but I found this old forum post on the matter.


"Solution!
This has worked for me and others. Go to Titanfall2/_Installer/vc and run the .exe in the redist folder in both the folders you see in there, choose repair. It should fix it."

well i uninstalled it and origins app. and im re downloading them again it that doesnt work im going to try what you said if i can figure out what you are telling me to do if i cant im going to try to message you and maybe you can talk me thru it if you dont care bro

searched forums on multiple platforms for fixes. i've seen this and other methods mentioned a few places. none have worked for me so far for the same issue as original post. Re-Installing right now to see if that fixes. afterwords i will try the redist again and hope for the best

Fresh install + Redist folder as mentioned in fix worked only after it was re-installed in my case.
