He takes NO DAMAGE from direct hits.
Titanfall also apparently survived up til this point on general player agreements on what was fair and honorable and whatnot. That might have gone out the window with a 10k+ boost to the player count.
Sounds like you don't understand how weakspots work...
I will say That a Charge Rifle will take at least 2 shots to a weak point to Doom a lighter Titan, then another two to kill it. I've been playing the PvE long enough to figure that out.
Also doesn't excuse taking Titan fire without being hurt. I don't even play the PvP, I'm not sure about how badly cheaters have popped up in it since the Steam release, if at all.
Either way, I hope the OP can give it another try, at least trying the PvE before flat out saying it's not for them. I've seen plenty of Pilots sitting in the Advocate Network, with several hundred to several thousand wins, but 0 kills, because that part of the menu only counts player kills.
Sounds like you don't know the concept of still taking -some- damage no matter where you're hit.
He was referring to your Titan. you'll notice most Titans seem to have a red sheen over stuff like Cockpits and Vents. those are Weak Spots. They deal "Critical hit" damage when shot, pretty much the Titan equal to being Headshot.
As I said though, the Charge Rifle takes more than two shots to outright kill. you have a Doomed state to go through first.
Ya'know, most people don't moan about cheaters because they fancy "making stuff up". They have legitimate concerns they wish to voice in the hope of removing those type of people from the game.
every game has cheaters lol...I'm new and have played over 100 games and have played 2 "assumed" cheaters both were on my team.
also there is 11,382 online right now pretty good for a 4 year old game so the game isn't dead
I'll believe the OP when he presents some evidence, until then i am assuming he is hyperbolic. He seems to tend towards overdramatisation, given that he claimed he went and uninstalled the game just over this one instance.
I've played over 50 hours, i have yet to encounter a cheater. There are some wicked good players on occassion, but in general there haven't been cheaters yet. And i will need more than a "listen and believe" assertion on behalf of the OP to blindly believe it.
Until then, i will rather choose to believe in confirmation bias.
You claimed you were shooting "2 rounds" whatever those rounds were, into the back of, considering the context, a titan.. who knows what 2 rounds you are even talking about.
Grenade launcher into the back of a heavily armored scorch or legion? Will barely do any damage.
Even Tone's grenade launcher, will not do much to heavily armored parts.
And this is me being charitable and assuming you were using a Tone.... because if we are starting to talk about something like you using a Northstar then that paper thin armor would already account for why you died easily... and if you didn't charge that plasma rifle you will do a pittance of damage to armored spots too. Or even worse, maybe with 2 rounds you meant 2, uncharged, Ion rounds.
If you, for whatever reason, aren't even talking about you being in a titan or firing into the back of a titan, then we would also have to consider that maybe you were shooting at a stealth echo.
There are so many possible explanations given your minimalistic rage post that will account for the situation and would not be necessarily taken into consideration by a newbie.. and none of those would take cheaters into account.
I am sure cheaters exist. And thanks to world of tanks we even have a rough idea how many people of a given playerbase will be inclined to cheat. Since WoT is publishing their ban wave numbers, and their overall player numbers and the reputation as cheater infested, makes it a good representative number to make generalized statements.
Your chance to run into a cheater in a 6v6 game... given the number of players.. are of the size and magnitude that you should start playing lottery, even if we would assume WoT levels of cheaters in this game.
Its far more likely that what you experienced has more beguine explanations. Up to and including lag.
But then again, given that you pretty much went "REEEEE" and uninstalled, i am less inclined to assume your claim has any credibility and you will also be unlikely to provide actual evidence... then again if you had evidence, you probably would have written to origin support and handed the evidence over to get the cheater banned...
So... here we are.. you going REEEE and claiming cheaters and we can take you at your word or don't.... and based on my experience with this game, i am going to assume that you haven't encountered a cheater, but simply tend to overdramatize the situation and then ran to the forums to post a rage post, because you are simply not understanding what happened, and also have no interest in trying to understand what happened.
