Hold to ADS setting doesn't work.

I want to hold M2 in order to ADS and release it in order to hipfire, i.e as opposed to pressing it once to ADS and pressing again to return to hipfire. The game has this option in it's controls menu, so all should be fine. Except for me it doesn't actually do anything. I set it to "Hold to ADS" or whatever and return to game... and it's still on Toggle. I must have checked it a dozen times at this point. The setting tells me I should be holding the key, but the game just treats it as though it's on toggle.

I've searched the discussions here on Steam but haven't found any results of people having the same issue, anyone here know what's happening?

You have to make sure you rebind the actual key to "toggle" in the controls. Not just check the toggle box in the options.

Did you try pressing "after having changed it?

you're probably changing it in the controller section. you need to go to your kb + m keybinds

Thanks guys, I finally got it working as I want. Just had to do it in keybinds instead of control settings.

It's CONTROLLER, not CONTROL settings. Read it properly next time.
