Downloading crazy slow

I normally get at least 50MB/s on steam, but Titanfall2 is downloading at less than 1MB/s... is there any particular reason for this?

Check your internet speed, if its normal then try clearing the download cache on steam

It finally finished, it was definitely not on my end since I tried another game and that downloaded at over 40MB/s, went back to Titanfall2 and it was still going crazy slow but eventually it sped up a bit to around 4MB/s after a few hours.

mine peaked at 177kb/s tonight downloading titanfall2 lol. this was over a 4 hour ish period

when i started my download it was orignally at 0 bytes/s, presumably because it was busy configuring something rather than downloading files. This has happened to me on other games but either way you'll just have to wait.

Sorry for late reply, but if anyone else still has this problem, you can try to switch the download region

Thanks guys. My region was certainly set to the best for me already, but for some reason tonight when I've gone to resume the DL, its back to normal speeds. odd. Thanks again.

My download is at 75MB/s or like 500-900mb/s and on EVERY other game it takes about 5-10 minutes sometimes 15 to download. Titanfall 2 has taken almost 1-2 hours. I paused the download in the middle and downloaded apex and it took 10 minutes. Restarted my Titanfall 2 and it was still starting and stopping during the download. Its just the game I assume and not the client
