Boss pike in Scotland

Hello!

I tried to catch boss pike in Scotland today. I got him on the line 5 times and always the same outcome , 2 seconds and line snapped. Thing is i didn't have nearly any drag on it and there is no heavier line that i could get. Same goes for rod and reel. So anyone have any explanation for that?
Didn't have any problem with Char boss as well, but this pike is well....

How much drag and how good was your hook set?

Well in reference to your question, 2 perfect strikes , 3 good strikes. Drag i already told in first msg so i do believe there is no need to repeat that :)
It seems to be be bug since i reset the game and check integrity files, that happened but thanks for trying to help anyway:

Wasn’t something to go by, as you could have meant 5… 10… or you could have meant say 25 which would still be low compared to overall - so a little more specific would have been clearer.

If I’m fact you meant literally hardly any drag I:e 5/10 then that could be part of the issue (as I tend to set at least 35-40) when targeting those compared to say around 25 when going for Bass.

Anyways, I hope it gets sorted, nothing worse that getting
