Have to agree on this game being dead tho...
Not a new game , but they released it as a new separate game yesterday. They just took all the bass fishing parts of FSW , removed everything else , and released it as a separate "new" game yesterday. So we have 2 re-skinned games of FSW now. The Catch and then this:

it's funny and sad at the same time.
Does The Catch have a future ? Or have you abandoned it ? Any plans for more content for it ?
We have no update or information to share for The Catch at the moment. We know that our messaging and direction hasn't been clear for the community and we want to fix this going forward. We are working on some internal tasks at the moment and hope to have more information for everyone soon to talk about our plans.
We do not believe you DTG as you have not ever listen since euro fishing you keep saying we are doing something new, its a new feature but don't apolgize and tell long time fans you were all wrong to ignore us all.
Why should we believe you now that you want to fix things and get things right???
Players have spent so much of their money on your fishing promise games and if you want to deliver you better give huge discounts and show why you can be trusted again.
You just brought out another new game for new player and that just stabbed me in the heart for you to do this again.
If you were serious you will take it off steam and bring out the fishing game we all want to see! Not reskin of new features like this new carp game.
And you never answer my questions in my previous post and that hurts you won't enter into a discussion with your long time fans of eurofishing.
Many players are very unhappy and has finally given up it is a bit too late to see the issues. You got to do something very drastic to make us want to pay and give you money for any more new fishing games.

That is really really sad. This game had so much potential. I would have loved it of they added some Euro Classics like St Johns , Le Lac D'or , Monte Bravo and more in this game with the much better engine than Euro. I think plenty would have bought such DLC. And of course completely new lakes as well. They really are missing the pot completely.
With each game, we have learned what works and what doesn't work. The Catch was great for us to focus on carp fishing but based on community feedback we have to look at how we can improve next time. Putting extra venues, fish, and equipment in a game is an option which we did in the past with our previous games, but this doesn't solve or address the regular things raised by the whole fishing community, this includes Fishing Sim World. With each release, we learn more about what our game should feel like, be and have, and going into the new year we are going to be working closely with everyone to make sure we make something that meets everybody's expectations.
What that is telling me is that nothing is going to be done to improve the current game , but you are planning to release yet ANOTHER new game. And exactly that is what is one of the biggest issues the community is angry about. The constant new games instead of improving and adding on the current ones. The feeling of having to keep paying for new games where the added features/content should rather have been implemented into current games is one of the things that makes the community angry. And yet it sounds like that is still the path you are planning to keep on taking. Which in turns tells me that you are not really hearing what the community is saying.
Yes, we are no longer releasing extra content for The Catch: Carp and Coarse. We don't think we have nailed what we want our fishing games to be yet and for us to work this out we have to work with the feedback from our players. Yes, a part of this feedback is about wanting more venues/features for The Catch: Carp and Coarse, but we have tried filling a game with more venues/fish and equipment in the past with Fishing Sim World and we know where that has taken us, so doing the same with The Catch: Carp and Coarse will only temporarily smooth things out for our Carp fishing players until we have to then address larger things which need a lot of time to work on.
