Stracciatella Installation

I have jagged Alliance 2 Gold on Steam and need some help in installing the Stracciatella mod. I have downloaded two Stracciatella files (both are for a 64 bit computer running Windows 10): One is a .exe file and the other is a .zip file. Do I need both of these? If I run the .exe file, what destination do I use? Do I drag the files from the .zip into another folder? I don't know much about computers, so any help would be appreciated.

The zip should contain "Data" folder(s). If so, the zip's contents should be placed directly into the game's install directory, overwirite when prompted.
The exe is supposed to replace the game's original exe.

Hey dude how do you change resolution in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stracciatella mod ?
I tried to change via the launcher nothing happens tiny picture in the middle of the screeen despite entering the correct values. What moron made this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod ?

i see i can change the resolution in the launcher but it does not scale the game resolution up it just add black bars.

unable to find yet where to actually change the game resolution, if anyone has the awnser for this mod let me know!

It's very weird, but I found that it works best if I leave the resolution at 640x480, then select a desired scaling mode, and once the game is running I just resize the window, or use Alt+Enter to go fullscreen. Works out beautiful with "Pixel perfect centered" on a 1440p Monitor :)

Hey, I just wanted to thank you - something is definitely wrong with the scaling in that mod, if I set anything other than 640x480 I get black bars all the way around, but doing what you suggested has allowed me to have proper fullscreen on a 4k monitor. Good work!
