Will I like Yakuza 7 if Dragon Quest 11 puts me to sleep?

DQ11 is just a boring game that puts me to sleep, classic boring mechanics, simple story, garbage Dragon Ball artstyle
I loved Persona 4 and 5

Yakuza Lad have way better characters and interactions you might like it.
One problem with all Dragon quest games is that they always got a silent protag so he always comes off as really boring since hes not like in western rpgs where you do dialogue choices so it at least feels like he got a character.

I played both and for sure I prefer yakuza 7, simply an amazing story that you can't get bored.

I often struggle with traditional JRPG's, but Yakuza LaD has me enthralled. The MC is very different from a traditional protag, and is charming and funny. Much of the humour comes from the writing stapling JRPG tropes into a mundane, modern-day setting.

DQ11 couldn't hold my interest but Yakuza 7 was engaging the whole way through.
