How do i beat tendo

Peerless resolve is your friend, you should also have your party members at around level 70-80 before heading into the final boss tendo because his right hook one shots everyone

Dude above is mostly right.

I got through fairly easily with team at level 55 but you need to do peerless resolve on Ichiban first thing and then keep doing it every time he would have been knocked out by Tendo. Use either Namba or Seako as healers too.

I haven't done the Tendo fight in a while, but things that are generally true:

- There is a massive difference between if you do the perfect guard vs just taking the hit.
- The bondage Poundmates assist boosts your defense a lot, and can make the difference (especially when combined with the above).
- You want to lower his attack if you have a character who can (Nanba's stench attack etc)
- I don't remember if Tendo does a charge-up before the attack, but just like the other bosses in the game you want to switch to defense if he does.

Nancy-Chan is your best friend this fight as well for the poison damage. (I don't remember if that substory is mandatory)

As others have said, on Ichiban's Hero job, always cast Peerless Resolve for self rez. Sustain your team by healing with Idol Saeko - Tendo is weak to Electric, so Enforcer on Adachi and Breaker on Nanba should help you too
