About the business management minigame....

I just got top 100. Now I have to acquire more properties and hire more employees, but thing is, the only employees available for me have d0gsh!t stats.
How can I hire more competent employees, with better stats? Should I progress through the story (I'm currently on chapter 5), or can I just grind it to top 1, like most of you all did on Yakuza 0 Real State minigame?

do you have people like watase, kiryu, majima and daigo? if not you will struggle as their stats are boosted
you can also promote people who are max rank so they can keep getting better

Didn't even knew I had access to Watase, Kiryu, Majima and Daigo in this game. I'll try to look up on Youtube on how to get them. Thanks for the tip.

I think its part of the deluxe content, if you got the base game i dont think it includes them, which will make business grinding alot longer

Look up a guide on where the recruitable people in the world are. Some are unlocked by substories, others are just kinda standing around once you get to certain points in the story. A lot of them have better stats than the ones that show up normally in the recruit section. The kid from the substory at the burger joint for example is a pretty good all around option.

and youll also need to have fairly high personality stats to get alot of them, go to vocational school for that, it wont max it but should get you to 70% of most of them

The thing is, I need money for the vocational school, which if I had, I wouldn't be doing the business management minigame to begin with

Business management doesn't give that much early on, tbh. Even at rank 1 you only get 3 million per round.

The main way I earned money early on was by making sure I tried to pick up items in front of the vending machines. I got a lot of gold, silver, and a few platinum plates that way. The Part Time Hero app is also very helpful, though you will want to hold onto a platinum and gold plate for the later missions it gives you. But the money rewards you get are pretty good.
