The amount of cans you need to collect to finish that mini-game ranking for example far superseded the value of the garbage/cockroaches, and aside from the albums the guy only sells a couple other "for Part-time Hero" items like half-consumed Bentos and water (growth items are not worth it from him).
Edit : And honestly - I think the college was worse than the can collecting. Maybe I missed it, but taking tests on things I have 0 insight about was weird lol; though only took 3 tries on the hardest one (and got the final test in first shot - luck of the draw on questions).
I've been sitting at 2/5 cockroaches for a while. I've actually gotten enough trash by wandering the city/doing normal stuff, and only had two cockroaches manifest in all these hours. I will probably end up doing the can collecting quest--after all, I just suffered through the business management minigame just to upgrade Romance Workshop. That makes the can quest barely an issue to me. But I definitely agree that some tedious aspects of this game have made skip several parts of it.
I doubt I'll be getting 100% achievements but I've accepted that fact many games ago.
This is, indeed, very possible and easy. While game is open, alt-tab to Cheat Engine. Select the game's process. Use default settings. Type in the number of points and click First Scan. When that's done, go back into game and spend some eco points. Search again. Do once more and I always have the obvious memory address to modify. Increase that to a suitably huge number and buy all the cockroaches you want.
