PSA to anyone rolling for Golden Eggs from Omelette.

Omelette requires 21 dialogue prompts before she lays a random egg. By the 20th prompt, save your game, then check if she gives you a golden egg. If not, reload and talk to her. It should bring you back to the 20th dialogue. Got my egg this way. Saved me some time and my poor controller's A button.
