Nintendo Switch Pro Controller input issues
I found some not so recent answers about this, so I'm here trying to figure it out if there is a solution to this.

I'm using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controlled, a wired Gamecube-type one. I played from Yakuza 0 to 6 with it, no problems except with Kiwami 2 that gave me Playstation inputs in-game. That time, it was easy to fix it through Big Picture.

But in this case, the problem is the following: The confirm button is, in my controller, A. But on-screen it says B. Likewise, physically B is the button to cancel, but the screen says A. X and Y are also inverted. I'm using the Nintendo layout (or I don't know how is it called in English, my system is in Spanish btw) in Big Picture. If I disable it, the buttons match no problem, A is A, and B is B. But considering I've played 7 games with the Nintendo layout, it feels weird to press the little B button (remember, is a Gamecube-type one) to confirm.

So... is there a fix to that? I do have a Generic Switch Wired Pro Controller, and I feel I could get used to use that one instead buuuut... I'm kinda attached to the Gamecube one and to the memories of the previous games. Silly, I know, but still...

Any aniki can help me? Thanks in advance.

So button prompts match your controller now, right?
Then go into the game's settings and rebind your controller buttons. They are rebindable in this game.

They only do if I disable the Nintendo layout, wich I'd like not to. If I have enabled it, they don't match.
I just wanna know if there is an actual fix to that, instead of forcing to play with that layout off.

Well, I tried to rebind the controls, but the menu ones cannot be changed, or couldn't find them, so it is still B to confirm actions... sigh, it's gonna be with the other controller then. Still thanks for the help.

FWIW I just dealt with it. I really only had issues with the karaoke timings and had to train my brain that B means A and X means Y etc.

I took a look myself now, and damn you are right. You can change it for everything, even for the mini games, but not for menus as it seems.:p4g_sweat:

I have to do this anytime I play something on a Nintendo console, I'm so used to the AB/XY control scheme that I take a while to get used to their BA/YX control scheme.
