Is it possible to avoid "romancing" Eri...
if you want to do the management game after getting to first place?

She has a quest marker over her head now, for her "romance" quest, so I can't get back to the management game without doing it. I'm trying to only do one of the romance quests (not sure which yet), and most are easy to avoid since they require obvious action on Kasuga's part (drowning them in flowers).

i mean if you don't you'll just be not completing a substory and romance really has no impact on the story whatsoever. You can initiate it but not complete it.

again romance has zero impact on your story so even if you complete it, it won't affect anything. I romanced everyone and they have literal amnesia and never bring it up. Also you miss out on stat buffs if you avoid it but if that's how you want to play, that's up to you.

you'll still need to talk to her in the bar so it should be easy to avoid. same with sa-chan

If you're going for 100% the game forces you into the harem route. If you don't want that, just don't talk to the women.
Edit: I forgot to add that Kasuga gets a large permanent defense boost if you complete the harem subplot.

Given how the series works, avoid it all you want it’ll be canon in the sequel.
The game actually expects you and rewards you for romancing everyone. If you skip this stuff you are playing wrong.

I totally agree with the "one-woman man" idea, but in this case it is part of the story that you are not. Ichiban is an idiot, don't try to make him smart.

Harem route is canon, Ichi grew up in a ♥♥♥♥♥ house.
