again romance has zero impact on your story so even if you complete it, it won't affect anything. I romanced everyone and they have literal amnesia and never bring it up. Also you miss out on stat buffs if you avoid it but if that's how you want to play, that's up to you.
Edit: I forgot to add that Kasuga gets a large permanent defense boost if you complete the harem subplot.
I totally agree with the "one-woman man" idea, but in this case it is part of the story that you are not. Ichiban is an idiot, don't try to make him smart.
