Is that true that you won't be able to play this game without internet connection?

You don't need to be permanently connected to the internet, but you need to be connected from time to time to let denuvo phone home.

It doesn't have denuvo.

EDIT: ♥♥♥♥, wrong discussion. Yeah you'll need to be online for the denuvo thingy to activate, but going offline after should be fine.

Depending on the setting, you need to be online like once... you start it and perhaps once every few months to update your token. Considering it does not come to some issues like we have seen on other games. But even that was resolved pretty fast (a few hours at most)

Looks like i'm fonna refund my legendary edition, i don't wanna play games where you need internet connection to launch, if it's single player game.

I don't mind on steam for this game but cyberpunk 2077 i bought it on gog.

You do that all the time with Steam and similar digital stores.

Even steam has offline mode and you need internet connection only for installing game.

well, this is the case here, too. you need internet connection once, after installing it. and maybe once every 3 months or whatever was set by the developers.

It will work the same way Monster Hunter World works with Denuvo. After 2-3-4 weeks when your Denuvo authentication token expires you won't be able to start up the game until you have internet, connect to steam and launch the game to get a new token
