Can you buy High Density Metal?

I need this for a bunch of upgrades, but so far I've had little luck in find where to buy it.

Also looking for bugs.

Check at the shop that sells crafting material.

Bugs live in the trees and grass.

Yeah, sadly one of the few items he doesn't sell.

I wonder if its only a drop, like ingots?

Yeah, I couldn't find the item listed on the wiki, but the wiki uses a lot of the fan translated names from the JP edition, so I could be missing it that way.

Nothing drops it that I've encountered. I am missing about 60 enemies, probably because I've largely ignored the dungeon crawl up to this point.
I'd wager it's either a random drop in higher dungeon levels, or there's some tricky way to acquire it, like that hidden guy who sells gold keys.

Oh, I need to find this gold key guy then.

I did the dungeon to the end, didn't see any, but unsure if the dungeon levels up, it could be I'm not high enough in chapters to access the material properly.

I'm on Chapter 9

If you make Ichiban a foreman, you get this ability that lets you knock down barricades.
Then go to Zhou Long Distribution, around into the alley, up some stairs and there might be some enemies. Dispatch them and continue until you see a door you can hit, and the dude is in there.

I don't think any of his wares are terribly expensive. Gold keys cost like 10k.
There's another black market guy elsewhere that sells expensive weapons though. He lives under the bridge next to the gambling den.

Sadly I just dropped 20 mil on the crafting, his weapons are too weak for me now ;-;

Ah thank you, I was starting to wonder if maybe I was trying to get an item that's reserved for slightly later. I guess I'll continue on till then :D

Good thing they're side rewards. .-. Need to go through and quickly compile a list of which floors have what though, for example I need Silver Ingots myself so I CAN FINISH THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BAT- not that I'm using the bat. Ichi's a breaker for me.
