Combat QTE are way too hard
I miss the QTE using the Y key (or triangle) 90% of the time. I press when in the circle: no effet. I press when it's a the center: no effect. I press after it reached the center: no effect.

Please, stop with QTE; it's a pain in the *ss, especially when badly calibrated.

And the option to have "slow" fights does not seem to help…

Press the triangle button as it sort of hits the letter button icon, you sort of let it rest on it for a fraction of a second.

Don't worry about having to time it as it shrinks, just hit it as it stops on the button.

Outer blue circle does nothing.

This ^

I made the same mistake. You have to wait until it's in the actual middle.

The QTE is hella misleading, its much later/slower than it seems. Just literally wait until it feels like you are completely out of time then press.

I just turned it off. Seemed kind of pointless anyway.

I can't figure out when to hit the friggin block button. I've done it as I'm being hit, WAY before and everything in between. Never got a perfect block. Any advice on that one?

QTE are blowing me up on the Switch controller. It does have the correct prompts but I am so used to having the wrong prompts and have adapted to it. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

It's definitely right as the hit lands but it's tough.

Perfect guard timing is tricky. I don't find any of the other combat QTE's hard at all.

It's precisely as you get hit.

The Triangle or Y key QTE isnt explained well but is actually really easy. You have to hit it AFTER it closes in and touches the icon. do not do it right as it closes in on it as you could do it too early and miss it. There you go.

the timing QTE should be changed to appearing when it needs to be pressed rather it being a huge misleading song and dance because it really throws you off.

I can perfect block most of the time but I've been failing perfect attack 95% of the time. Trying to wait until it's too late isn't quite working, but I'll keep experimenting. Been in a solid twenty random fights just for testing. Tempted to just turn it off at this rate.

The button mashing is harder than what I was expecting but it's still "fair" imho.

The perfect guard timing is tight but with time you get used to it. It's not very rewarding though so far it doesn't lower the damage that much.

Perfect guard isn't bad if you're used to games that require parrying, but it is very strict. The folks here talking about perfect attack timing being very late were absolutely correct.

I've given perfect attack a few more attempts and can nail it most of the time. Don't think of it as a timer at all, but rather once you're allowed to press the Y button the circle around the Y will turn blue.
