How's the Optimization for everyone?
My rig i7 -6700k , 1080ti, 32GB ram , SSD play on 1440p

Is it just me or the optimization not good? Kiwami 2 ran more smoother for me.

Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram and RTX 3080 and I can run it at 4k max with multisampling, the inbuilt vsync isn't the best I'm using the nvidia control panel one.

r5 20600, 24gb of ram, 2060, 1080p ultra settings capped at 60fps. I might up the render resolution and see just how high it can go without causing fps drops. Ive personally had 0 issues with all the yakuza games so far so i guess im one of the lucky few.

1440p highest settings. night time makes the framerate drop slightly below 60

Runs great, but that was to be expected with a RTX 3080 gpu, i7 10700K CPU and 32GB RAM. I play @3840x1600 resolution and just wish the cut scenes didn't have lateral black bars (or to be more precise, black bars with the image of dragons, like a wallpaper). Gameplay itself is fine.

I could understand, if all cut scenes we're pre-rendered videos (save some space by not having to make a duplicated video for every aspect ratio). But even ingame engine cut scenes have those bars.

But I wasn't expecting a demanding game. It's still the very old engine, with the outdated animations, better but still poor textures, even in the higher settings. The higher resolution and frame rates are the main difference, compred to previous Yakuza games on PC.

Those character animations (except facial ones), are really outdated. Everything so stiff, no motion capture used. Sometimes, the character that is not talking is so still, that for a second it looks like the game froze. But it's part of the quirckiness of Yakuza games, but they better do something better next time.

My AMD RX 5600 XT with an i5-9400F 2.90 GHz runs the game at 45-60fps in Yokohama even though with the exact same settings on Kiwami 2 it runs around the 90s or higher on a good day. And I've been hearing people received better performance in LAD over K2, so idk what's going on. V-sync doesn't change anything, even when performance gains.

1080p and 1440p see no difference either so it's definitely more on the optimisations side than the hardware. until i figure out more I may just slightly lower the render resolution. Or look out for a driver update, perhaps.

Intel 8700K , 2080 Super

WQHD Ultra Details 1440p = Steady 70 fps in Open World in Cut Scenes about 90-110 fps
It works really good but my Gpu only use 70% in 1400p. That's a bit strange

4K with High Details and no AA i got about 54-60 fps.

SO overall it workes good but i really think its system related how good for everyone.

3070 4790k 1440p ultra 100+ fps everytime it's ok.

Ryzen 5 3600 AMD RX 580
pretty much 55-60 with every setting on high except for multisampling

R5 3600, 2060S and 16GB Ram. Game runs fine for me at least on High Settings at around 50-60FPS like that. Just that there's some black bar on the right and left of the screen during cut scene. Don't know why but it's pretty annoying. Luckily the game works fine.

I've got a somewhat outdated PC. I7-7700 16gb ddr4 with a 1070 vga, game installed on an ssd. The game is set to ultra at 1080p. I've played about 4hs, capped at 60fps without a single framedrop so far.

Everything set at the highest, motion blur off, 1440p. It hasn't gone under 100fps so far in the first couple chapters but I'm probably just powering through inefficiencies. 3080, 10900KF

I’m running at 4K on GSYNC OLED (55-65 FPS average) R5 3600xt, 16GB 3600mhz, EVGA 3070 XC3 Black, Samsung M.2.

Max settings; however multisampling on and no AA.

In general, really good. RTX 3090, i7 5820k (old cpu), and I've been getting between 60-100 (depending on the scene) on 2160p max everything, TAA, DOF off, multisampling on.

Depends on the scene really. First scene in free roam in chapter 3 dipped it down to around 60-65. Some scenes around chapter 1-2 can go up to 90-100.

Also GPU usage was kept at 98-100%, unlike stupid Watch Dogs Legion which sometimes drops to 70%.

Currently running a 7600 RPM, R5 3600 along with a 2060. Have been only playing in 60 FPS maxed out 1080p.

Titan Rtx, i9 9900k @3440-1440, Everything maxed, V-sync off, frames locked at 60 (anything above seems pointless for this game) and I get 0 dips.
Game runs great for me.
