True Final Millennium Tower

Hey there,

I have heard about the current patch's disruptions with the appearance of the true final millennium tower. From what I've gathered it seems to be inconsistent, some players were able to complete it before the patch which is quite lucky.

What I wanted to ask to those who have managed to complete the achievement within this patch is...

What were the major milestones that you had achieved besides beating the final (regular) tower before gaining access to to the true final tower?

I would also love to know how many times people have done the regular millennium tower before the true final millennium tower appearing?

Just for context I have completed all the subquests and the final game twice on normal and am currently on a premium adventure after the NG+. My characters have maxed out three jobs each and I have completed the final tower twice up to the time of writing this post.

I will update everyone if I somehow gain access to the tower. I would appreciate your responses to this issue.

So I beat the normal tower like twice and then hit lvl 90+ on two chars and after beating it again I got the alert for the true tower(got it this morning like 12 hours ago) I tried the final tower just now and beat it, but once i got to the last boss it just showed the normal ending and put me back outside, i didnt get to fight him.

This is odd because I have not gotten any notification after completing the normal tower 4 times now. Did you receive a text notification after completing the normal tower?

I got the text after seeing the alternate ending where you get the sega taiyaki, but it doesn't really matter since true final seems broken regardless - skips the fight and shows you that alternate ending again before sending you back outside

You have to complete the Sujimondex, then do the Final Tower, when you leave you will get a text from Amon about the True Final Tower.

I also have the problem

I never received anything from Amon after beating the Final Millenium Tower several times

Completed the Sujidex, all substories too.

I read that the last update could have caused this.

DOes anyone was able to unlocked it even after the patch or people are just waiting a new update to fix it ?

I unlocked true tower after beating the normal tower twice without completing all of the subquests but I have not tried it yet.

I think I got the same cutscene those 2 times and when I did it a third time I got a different one.

Did you have some particular setup for your team or something else ?

I've done the tower like 10times without success, completing the sujidex did the trick for me.
Maybe reaching a minor milestone might do the trick (getting a crown of whatever) if you already finished the tower and the sujidex.

Interesting. Is everyone sure that it's the complete Sujidex that is the unlock trigger and not all substories being done?

I wrote a guide around the time of patch 1.02 and have been trying to update it with accurate info for everyone who is confused by the unlock conditions. If anyone can confirm or deny new info (with evidence if possible), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Edit: I got confused and misspoke, so I deleted that part. I'm a bit worn out after keeping up with all this info.

In my personal case substories were all done before doing the tower for the very first time.

I also had all substories done, got the last 2(?) sujimon in the FINAL Tower, got the last Suji for completion, then had to keep grinding out the FINAL Tower until I eventually got the text.

The variance in everyone's stories is mind boggling .

Yeah

I've got Sujidex and Substories completed but nothing yet ...

I'll try to grind again and see if anything happens

I got a text on my cell phone saying the new challenge was in the back of building.
I had all substories done even before my first run of the normal tower, I still have yet to fully get the sujimon index.
Like i said I only got the text after I had a few characters over level 90 and job levls over 90

My chara are level 99 and some job level 99 too

So I don't really understand x)

Maybe I'll just wait a fix x)

Hello everyone thanks for the information, I will don my best to try and get all sujimon then retry the tower. I am solely trying to achieve this for the steam achievement so I appreciate your responses.
