200 MP and there are fights in the initial Ijincho sewer dungeons where it won't kill even those enemies. It seems expensive for any situation where you don't need just that amount of damage *now* and you don't have consumables/Poundmates etc. that would suffice.

He is not, also most essence skills do more damage than the laser and they only cost like 50 mp

I have yet to see this. I have used most essence skills and they show that. JR lvl 25+ and l;evel 48 on characters

dude I used thumbtack scatter way more. one hit kills multiple enemies or close to it every time

The laser is okay, but Giga Swing and Divine Shot is a better combo (imo), and cheaper ^.^

Divine Shot sucks. Some dude are extremely resistent to bullets. You can't guard against the laser at all which makes it a lot more effective.

Wait, why are you're guys' Orbital Laser doing anything less than 1300 damage per cast? Also, the laser is particularly good against the pair of bosses in Chapter 12 and one of the final bosses in Chapter 15, seeing as they just resist almost everything anyway.

Amon disagrees with you in the Millenium Tower at 5% HP. When used against you it pretty much wipes out everyone most of the time.

And I have used the orbital laser plenty of times, and if you use the books to increase Ichibans magic it can be devastating.
