Just grinded for "elegant pouch" but can't equip it?

I recently got the fourth party member. I forget her name. She uses a handbag. I immediately went to the can race because I remembered unlocking an expensive "elegant pouch" in the can shop. I ground out 500,000 points, bought the elegant pouch, and it is not an option under "gear". Nowhere to be seen. I do own the item.

Please help

Pretty sure that's just an upgrade item. If you use Hostess for long enough and keep upgrading the cotton pouch, you'll use that Elegant Pouch.

I don't want to say you wasted your time but it may have been easier to grind for 10 million yen and buy it later.

Hi I think that's because Elegant Pouch is a Hostess job's weapon, when you first unlock Saeko, her default job was Barmaid, which allow her to equip "bag" weapon type only. If you need to equip Elegant Pouch, soon in the story the game allow you to change job at Hello Work, change to Hostess then you can equip it (personally suggest Idol job or wait for Dealer job available instead, better jobs).

And soon after that you will meet a girl called Eri, see lead to the Business Management game, that's a good way to earn money, also when you climb your company to high rank, you unlock her as a member (rank 100, quite easy), and unlock some exclusive skill for Ichiban, like calling a satellite strike ;)

Nope when upgrade to EX (or EX+2) level weapon, you need a luxury weapon as a component, all that weapon can be equip normally. I think you mistaken them with meterial like butterfly or lumber thing.

Nope, I haven't mistaken anything. You can use that to upgrade your Shining Pouch (Like I said, a Hostess weapon) from Shining Pouch +2 into a Shining Patch EX. I'm well aware you can equip the 10m weapons from Le Marche. I think you didn't understand what I said.

Fair enough, I was trying to avoid spoiling too much but I ended up wording it poorly and making less sense.

It turned out to be a weapon in and of itself. Not an upgrade. Also, she is my most powerful character because of it, almost 20 hrs in, and I have yet to see more than 50,000 yen so I feel that, while tedious, it was definitely worth it.
