i think the only way to cheat is with cheat engine but if you play the game and grind a bit you will not need any money cheat or any other cheat man.

The only reason why I would cheat in this game would be to keep a good harmony (compatibility) between the band members. I'm sick of always having to change band members. I don't understand why it changes so quickly even when playing EASY mode......

Realized that I'm seriously thinking about quitting playing this game just because of this (and the incessant requests from band members for a change of clothes etc,)

I've started to ignore the red lines between band members.

I've yet to have anyone quit or do anything that makes me worried they are going to quit. I get red lines between some of them, but nothing untoward ever happens - it doesn't affect performances, etc.

You will see that the longer the red lines will last, the members will start to be very unhappy and you will not be able to do anything to hold them back .....

Ah.

I am just coming to the end of my first year as a band - so maybe the New Year will be a disaster. Still, the keyboard player is a bit of a moose and she is likely to quit first, so it might turn out okay.

Britto made a complete series of videos on youtube and in his last videos he only played with 2 musicians (him and another) because he could not bear having to change members .....

Until I have a better long-term solution in place, the next update will stop the relationships from evolving over time, so green will stay green, red will stay red.

I don't know how I feel about that to be honest. In the early days of a band, turn over is an issue. But once they start to gel, it gets better. The game I'm playing now, our current line-up has been the same for the last 10 years. Even though a couple of the girls got a bit snippy with each other. As it is now, my lead guitar and drummer have been with the band from day 1. Started as a three piece. Bass player had a huge ego, no other players wanted to join ( all showed his name in red) so I fired him, hired a vocalist and keyboard player. Keyboard player quit within a year, vocalist is still with us. Hired a second guitar player and a bassist. Band has been together ever since. Of course sometimes the relationships get a touch frayed, especially on long tours. But part of the charm of this game is how well it simulates starting a band. Personal dynamics are part of it. You have to get the right people together to make it work. You might slow down the decay, but I wouldn't get rid of it. What you might do, is give us a popup of the player when we click on the help wanted ad to see the player and their stats. Click on the ad and window similar to the member page pops up. You can just bypass the huge egos that way. But it could spoil the surprise of hiring a bass player with a 184 songwriting skill.

perhaps todd can work out an algorithm that allows relationships to improve over an extended time period, whilst also having an ego algorithm that deteriorates relationshisp based on the volume of ego of individuals, so in effect a very egotistical member can drag everyone down over time.

I've noticed in my second year that relations have improved between two members, and worsened between another two.

Maybe a band relations system that is optional for those who want to be able to have it active and for those who just want a happy band?

guys one very good solution for long living bad relationships between members is to buy some art. Each time you buy a painting you get 50 happiness&50 inspiration. So over time it helps a lot for your members even with terrible condition never quits your band..So this is no problem cause doesnt effects your income you take from gigs etc.

Hello, i love so much this game that i must react to what you write. For me it is not the good solution to stop the relationships evolution. It is part of simulation and bring a real challenge for band management. If you know the musicians world you know it is the reality. It is very hard to keep a band longer and mostly when money take part in it. So i love this fact that relationships between musicians evolving and I want you are aware some player need this fact to be able to fully enjoy your awesome game. Moreover i don't think that easier is better for a sim game. Real congratulations for this game you give us to play. an addicted fan. :lunar2019coolpig:

It appears to all ready do that. I noticed that two of my girls were getting snippy with each other. Relationship even went red during last tour. We took like six months 'off' driving around the country, buying real estate, and writing the next album. Next time I checked, it was green lines for everybody. Things do change over time. It is tough in the beginning when you're just starting out,it does get easier when you're getting successful. I would really think hard about disabling a crucial part of the simulation just because some people can't figure out how to make it work. On our first cross country tour, our drummer did get real mad at the band. Even got the red border. Bought her some new clothes, and changed the band's 'image' for the rest of the tour. Now I make sure we change our image (clothes, banner) before every tour, and she's been happy as a clam ever since. It's part of the game.

Please do not change that, If you want to change it give it like option. I have two years band and nobody did not quit, if you follow they emotions and fix it when it need to be fixed they dont leave. In real life band members also have disagreements.
