What is fanscore?

I have max rep at several places, I have cheated to get max playing skill and stage performance. I consistently get first in the judge portion, but then some band gets 300 fan score and blows the other three out.

Battles are not about good songs. They are about well-rehearsed songs that the entire band can play well. Is there anyone in your band with low playing skill?

Forgive me for sidetracking the discussion, but does this mean that you can win a battle with crappy songs as long as the band has enough skill to play them well and has rehearsed them fully?
