Why do I suck so hard

I literally have tried so many combos, items, synergies and just can't work it out I can't even get a win, so would really love to know what I'm missing or doing wrong.

well #1 i see you dont have many ability orbs, make sure to take those elite fights

From your screenshot, you seem to always go for higher rarity items, but often lower rarity ones are also good for their stats, so a mix may be better. You have very few items upgraded, which means you're probably avoiding fights if you have so little money. Your positioning is also not great.

Here's some basic tips if you want a win. This is by no means the best strategy, but it's a sure and easy win you can replicate without rng. Eventually you'll be able to win with random heroes at high corruption.

-Get a tank, front. Equip with defense/life items.
-Get a healer, back. Equip with mp items.
-Get two damage dealers, one front and one back. Equip with basic speed or attack items.
-For your last hero choose either assassin, outlaw, or fiend, and put it alone on the other side.
-Focus on upgrading items on your damage dealers and tank first. Aim for all elites fights as priority #1 and most fights. Use good ancient items you find but don't forget that basic stats are important too. Don't buy stuff at the shop unless critical to your build, use your money to upgrade.
