What settings should I set for the best quality?

Got a 5800x3d with a 4090, want to push it to the fullest, what settings should i change?
Already done:
Resolution set to 2x
MSAA set to 2x
SteamVR resolution per eye set to around 190%

What else? Does using DirectShow instead of Media Foundation change quality? or is it just about compatibility?

Tested a bit more and setting MSAA to 2x in an 8k video nukes the FPS from 120 to 60, guess it's already pushed to the limit.
Still curious though, from your expertise, is it better to lower SteamVr eye resolution and enable MSAA? Or is SteamVR eye resolution a priority? I'm looking for the best quality of my VR videos

MSAA doesn't do anything to improve video quality. I recommend leaving it at 1. VR video quality is mostly limited by the actual video source (camera quality and video encoding), which you can't really control. Bumping up the HereSphere resolution or SteamVR resolution might help a little bit with noise from aliasing.
