The worst part here is the censored line isn't even good. It makes no sense without the context of it being censored and it becomes nothing more than an attempt to score brownie points with people who the joke wasn't even about in the first place.

Yep, not too free anymore. The main problem is that the silent majority continues to remain silent. It's an issue since the government and corporations cater to those who scream the loudest. The result is that the minority(smaller not race) groups are dictating policy. To summarize, majority rule is dead regardless of the outcome of any election.

Apparently, fear(lawsuit) exceeds freedom. :(

Some of you seem to think that you aren't allowed to censor things in the US for some reason? Not sure if you guys legit think that or if you're grasping at straws to find an argument that helps your case in why this is a bad move (a lot of the reasons are getting quite pathetic and unrelated to the game at this point). Freedom of speech only applies to the government. NISA is a private entity. They can do whatever the want with their games. It's not for any of you guys to decide. It's a single line in a video game with more words than most of you have ever written in your lives. It is a single box of text. And you guys are getting this angry about it. Most of what you said is true, censorship isn't illegal. However, "corporations cater to those who scream the loudest" could explain why NISA and other companies are censoring.

The Western influence on censorship is coming to your(anyone) country too, if it hasn't already. Just ask Japan.

I stopped purchasing PS4 games and bought a Switch when Sony changed their policies. It wasn't just for the point though, there were specific games releasing and I wanted the uncensored versions. Luckily, the Western influence hasn't hit Nintendo, yet.

I thought it was hilarious and totally how the Disgaea series works.

THe humor in these games has always made me smile.
