They're still not implemented, along with some important bugfixes to make it possible for players like me to play. Hopefully it will happen one day, otherwise, Disgaea being one of my favorite games won't be enough for me to consider buying their games in the future.

I wonder if one of those bugfixes include making it so that Magichange no longer sometimes behave like ALT+F4. For those who don't know, ALT+F4 is a Windows command that closes the application that is currently in focus. I find that sometimes, Magichange causes the game to suddenly close WITHOUT an error message. Just as if I had ALT+F4'd out of the game.

Eh, the map editor stuff adds a lot of replay value and the player senators and pirates are fun. It's neat to see other people's ships and favorite characters.

yeah just remove the nice finishing touches to the item world that the parent company made to make the end game more fun and added goals to work towards grinding for other than dealing x amount of damage.. and distinguished it from the previous disgaeas and pc gamers will thank us for it.. it's people like you who're helping NISA be a mediocre trash company that treats a portion of it's audience like ♥♥♥♥,

Weren't some articles mentioning that the network features were coming "Early 2021"? Or is this yet another case of Soon™?

Anyway. I miss them and i would like to see them here. More specifically, i miss the player-created levels, player-created pirate ship duels (It's neat to see other people's characters, but this is also the only legit way to amass a lot of points for the level editor shop.) and the occasional Scybot showing up in the Item World.

The good news is that, according to SteamDB, there are builds with network features being tested; the testing branch has been updated within the last 24 hours.

The bad news is that, as a Game Pass player, I've been waiting for three months just to be able to claim the 99-cent test DLC I bought, and if NISA doesn't care enough to fix the parts of the game that actually make them money, you can be damn sure they won't care if the network stuff is still half-broken if/when they push a new build out to the public.

Network Features help quite a bit with Disgaea 4 actually. Firstly, for people wanting to farm CP, they can do the pirate mode that came with Pleinair DLC. If you took the time to get some negative stat evilities, maxed out a character and got the correct pirate ship pieces, you can in fact farm around 15,000,000 CP within like 17mins work?

But the biggest bonus is being able to send in your pirate ships to appear in the item world. That means people can SHARE their max apptitude generic characters with all the evilities they have farmed to be duped via encountering them in the item world and throwing them in the base panel. It allows you to make an army of maxed chars without putting in 30 hours of farming per character.
