Completed Nighthaunt Tutorial, but still need help
Hi guys, I just completed the NH tutorial, but I am still new to the Nighthaunt, can someone explain the summoning concept to me Please, I am still unsure about it, thanks.

High damage, low armour. Wisps are what you use to spawn units on or have your units walk over them to restore health. Relatively simple faction so should pick them up quickly! Have fun

The Knight NH Hero has 2 spells that the Tutorial says enable summoning, I would like to know what is the difference between the different abilities.

Instead of summoning next to the hero like Stormcast, you move your spawn points by either a) putting down 1 use whisps or b) putting down multiuse lanterns. Your starting hero gets to spawn 1 whisp for free every turn and they stay in the spot until you use them or the enemy walks into them. Whisps also double as healing for your units so you will often balance between spawning more units or healing existing ones. Personally I haven't bothered with lanterns for summoning.

For me, I quickly received a two-handed sword that boosted attack/health- so I lost use of my lantern ability early on. Just stuck to casting whisps where I wanted my crew to summon in. Guardian of Souls is a wizard on their roster that has a similar array of spells or abilities too (whisps/lantern). Chainghasts are my MVPs with their Harvest skill.... sooo good.
There are also lanterns that spawn free units every 3~5 turns passed and/or wisps accumulated
