Fairy Tail does have a lot of fan service but it doesn't go over board with it most of the time it goes from boob shots and some what sexual poses but other than that its mostly teen-adult friendly

If anything, there'll be a fan patch to make it a bit more lewd like the manga, since the anime was covered up a lot throughout the series.

Well, with all the content and torture they've removed, they've clearly aimed at a pg 13 or so game :(.

I was very disappointed that most of the darker side of Fairytail was merely hinted about in dialogues, but they quite literally, removed every kind of evil free violence shown in the anime (Lucy being tortured in the game and so on).

They've also removed entire chunk of the story, sometimes summarising them with a lazy still taken straight from the anime, sometime, by just writing a couple of lines.


The entire part of the Garou exterminators was gone, most of the magic game has been skipped/removed/summarised.

I found it amusing that they aimed at not showing any panty shots, and yet, you can dress everyone in swimsuits... *insert logic here*

If I could theorize, there are no panty shots because of the upcoming photo mode and aiming for a certain rating because of the shonen audience. Being a resident coomer, this didn't even cross my mind when purchasing the game

For those of you expressing outrage and people wanting an uncensored version of the game. I would just like to inform you that a large majority of people that watch Fairy Tail are men and the majority enjoyed the lewd and ecchi aspects of the series. I'm not defending or picking sides. I just want to let you know that a lot of you are in the minority. I saw SEVERAL people online say they would not buy the game specifically because the game was censored. I know that might sound insane, but it's how a lot of the fanbase is.

I'm still having a blast with the game despite the censorship.

Or maybe you didn't watch the OVA's or specials. Also I recall some episodes had the girls doing lewd things like seducing guards with their boobs and sexual jokes as well.

Lol thanks KT. Thats's sneaky af. Considering refunding until there's a patch to fix this now, since I don't like being forcefully told what is and isn't acceptable for me. Especially through a patch after release.

I mean, entire ARCs are missing ( corrupted spirits for example), it goes way beyond a few panty shots to be honest, this was tone down to care bear levels...

All the more reason to believe that the age rating was a big factor during development. This is what happens when you target a younger demographic, and then have to follow rules in order to maximize advertising to that demographic. Question KT why they wanted a CERO B so badly, because then you'll find your answer to why the theme and ecchi was toned down
