Stuck at 108, where's the last star ?.

Heya,
So I have 108 stars, and I have no clue where I missed one star. I went back to all the tiny islands, no signs of secrets I missed, I got all the visible stars (including snake islands). On every main map there are no more star showing on the map... Got the sleeping rock star too. Is there an invisible star easy to miss ? Going back to every island to try to find what I miss might show annoyingly long (especially if it's a "push that wall" situation. I do know the red eye trick for the snakes so I do think I haven't missed them... ).

Anyone feels they might know ?

Maybe one of the stars behind a waterfall in the tide island? I don't know if it shows up on the map or as a red eye or not, as I didn't realize the map existed or the red eye trick until after I grabbed that one.

The major islands have indicators for stars on the map, so you can rule those out.

You'll just have to double check the islets again.

The snake eyes will show you if there's a secret to open in the current room, and stars would be visible (or at least their sleeping z's would show).

I've checked and rechecked each island but could not find the missing star, I'm following that 100% guide and can't for the life of me figure out what's missing.

My only suggestion would be to take screenshots of each islet screen and post them so someone can see if there are any that you might be missing?

maybe check the small island with 3 boxes and strange symbol on the wall and sand

There is one green islet with purple block. Maybe you miss this one?

Maybe you've missed one star in the underworld? It's hidden well.

Had the same problem, in case anyone is wondering, the star that you more likely missed (and you need flippers) is in the Rocky Island, underground part E2. There is a visible key that you have to acces through E1, and then there's the water which leads to the missing star.

Just wanted to pop in and say that the game now has an ability you can find to see which islands have stars remaining on them

Do you mean the ability on Eastern Shoal ? If yes, I have it and on all islands I see the glitter effect (except final island and Beast Ridge, but those don't have stars I guess) , but I still only have 108 stars.
