Need Help E2 in the Frozen Spire

I'm missing 1 egg and I haven't been able to access the last room with the egg box that I need to insert it into yet. There's a bird in the room above E2 that I haven't been able to get to yet. I'm thinking it might take me to the last egg box.

Is it possible to use the wind elementals to bring the box on top of the grey switch on the right so I can lower the block at the top of the room so I can go north? If so, I could use some help figuring out how. It's tough to figure out how to set up all the elementals in their different positions.

I'm literally looking at the exact same screen wondering the same thing, coming here to post this. So far I find the wind elementals extremely irritating to try to use. Hopefully someone can help us!

I think I got there using the fast travel phoenix from hitting all the bells. That Frozen Spire spot is on the other side of that bird, at least on my save.

I think the birds in the frozen spire travel to different places for everyone/it's random?

Yeah, the birds are random. In my game, its the last bird I haven't been to, and I've already unlocked the fast travel elsewhere.

I solved it! But it was less like coming up with a solution and more like just trying random movements with the elementals until I got the one the right positioned on top of the hole and pointing down.

Maybe there's a more proper solution but this is really the only time that a puzzle frustrated me during the entire game.

If you activate a wind elemental yourself, it will be pushed 1 block forward, but it will be pushed 2 blocks forward if you activate it with another wind elemental.

While it's possible to get the wind elemental over the hole without using another one, it's easier to find a way by just using 2.

Yeah I messed around by pushing them into each other.
