Dragonfly Puzzle
Alright someone give me a tip on the dragonfly puzzle for the flippers. I have all the dragonflies on the blocks and nothing is really clicking with that and the 5 by 5 grid

Hint: What else in the game is a 5x5 grid?

I tried matching where they began (red 1,1 green 1,5 yellow 5,5) and where they ended (red 4,1 green 3,4 yellow 4,3) but had no luck

LOL my wife spent like 2 hours going to every single island to find any things that are 5x5 grid, can you help narrow it down a bit?

The second option worked just fine for me, though your coordinates seem off. Then again maybe they're different per run, like the bird paths on the other island apparently are. Just double check you got the right numbers.

If you're looking for 5x5 sized things on screens in the world, you're already doing it wrong. It's the map, just like the other puzzles like it.

So she thought of that a while back, she tried putting the blocks where the flys were found, she tried pushing the blocks in the pattern they flew in, both didnt seem to work

Hint: Why do the dragonflies move like that the first time you rescue them?
Solution: Move each colored block to the starting corner of each colored dragonfly from outside the grid. Then move the blocks the same direction the dragonflies moved and ended up, I started with yellow. If you do it correctly then the solution happens immediately after you move the last block. If it didn't happen, then you moved the blocks wrong somehow and try again.

1-this beyond trash.
2-it doesn't work.

This ♥♥♥♥♥ ruined my fun. Period.

How do you even get started with this puzzle? I can follow and catch all 3 dragonflies, but then they just end up back where they started, and nothing changes. What am I even supposed to do with them?

For each dragonfly, a different music and color blink will play in the 3rd time you chase it, then it will fly to the quiz room with 5 x 5 grid.
After all the dragon fly goes to the quiz room, you should have all the necessary information to solve it.
Try to imagine the 5x5 grid as the map of the island and the color blocks as dragonflies

This is embarrassing, I literally only found the entrance to the quiz room right now. I completely missed that you could walk down on the beach from A3...
/edit: I got the flippers. Finding the puzzle helps solve the puzzle, I guess. Interestingly, my dragonflies moved differently than they did for other players. Seems their paths aren't fixed.

It does work. You have to put all three colors on the cell corresponding to where each dragonfly is found (maybe push them onto the start square from outside of the grid is needed). Once all three are in place, push them in the same path the dragonflies took when you were chasing them (not the path you moved; that is, if they moved one screen right, push the block one space to the right). I'm sure you can figure out the specifics if you got this far.

Okay so I was having similar difficulties, what I did to finally get it to work was You have to start the blocks on the spaces where the dragonflies start and then move each block one space in the exact path the dragonfly took (so do green red yellow green red yellow, etc) until they are in the ending spots (which should be green 1 space above true center, yellow to the right of true center, and red 1 space below true center hope this helps

I'm unable to figure out which one should be red. Possibly because I'm colourblind.

Hmm, it is unfortunate the game does not handle it better.

Edit: This might not work if you have all 3 dragonflies already.
Red Dragonfly has been consistently in the SW (verified on 3 saves).

If you don't have all 3 dragonflies yet:
This should work as a workaround.
Go to E4 (red dragonfly for me) and follow that dragonfly until you catch it.
Go back to A4. You now know which block goes with the E4 dragonfly.
That should be enough knowledge to bypass the colorblindness issues.
Then go catch the other 2 dragonflies so all 3 are caught. Finally solve.

This puzzle varies based on safe file, but the same colored dragonflies seem to start in the same rooms regardless of safe file. Even if they don't, this method should work to identify which dragonfly is which without needing any color sight.
