Some of those systems have opened up since, but not all. Looks like I might not get 100% artifacts, though now I've hit that "Flak Defense (2)" mission it's looking like I might not ever finish this game at all! 100 artifacts or not! :/
still lost half of my health on that mission (while cheating)
Check these forums for the thread about flak2 workaround-I too was stuck here but used the "fix" I found and reposted it in these forums-
I copy and paste here for you--ok NOW have fun!-(Don't forget to change it back after you complete the mission)
found this from playedout from years ago- it helped me...
This worked for me. Does it now? Don't know, been a while:
1) Goto your DSone installation folder
2) Goto folder lua\mission
3) use notepad or any text editor to open BattleLib.lua
4) Search for "BattleLib.CreateWing = function( BG, Data )"
5) Scroll down a little bit until you see the following section:
(USE “FIND” on IF):
if def.Position then
temp.Position = NVector.Add( {
Vector1 = BG.Center,
Vector2 = def.Position } ).Vector
end
6) add "temp.Number = 1"(without the double quotes) right below this section. It should also right above the line "if use_define then"
7) save the change and go back to game and load the Flak mission
8) You should now always facing 1 enemy only
It is highly recommend you to undo this change (remove the additional line) after you pass through the Flak mission (Save the game after the mission, exit the game, undo the change and go back to your save)
This was a very unfairly designed mission..... makes me wonder if the developers were deliberately trolling players with this one! Especially as they released the game with no cheat codes. Maybe they wanted nobody to ever finish this game. Where they trying to hide a ♥♥♥♥ ending or something?
thats a design flaw but not an intentional dickmove
It's definitely possible, to get all 100. I finished this game, when it was new. Unfortunately, it's getting really boring after this point...
I'm gonna miss these kick- butt games commin' in the future. You gamers now are lucky-some amazing games under development now I'll never see.
Darkstar One is an old buddy where I can jump into my spaceship and go pepper some aliens rectal defolate for an hour or 2-
I hope you, and all of us, find as much time as we ever need to experience every game that has existed and ever will exist in some kind of eternity. How that would ever work is beyond me and sounds pretty impossible wishful thinking. But that wont stop us hoping.
BTW, this isn't an invitation to start any raging arguments going over religion vs atheism, rationalism vs paranormal beliefs, Richard Dawkins vs Spiritualism or anything like that.... plz don't go kicking off bruvs!
Heh-
Get those arties- Garth-
