The fight feels terribly anticlimactic. With previous characters, the deck built during the playthrough matters immensely. In the "final final" fight the deck suddenly doesn't matter at all, which feels like a waste.
Hence I'd much prefer two separate ways to do it, one dependent on the deck (if you insist on keeping the current one in play). Current version definitely doesn't feel like a highlight of the game, it's more like a strange minigame... and then nothing.

the UI in the final battle is pretty bad. unintuitve lets say. what i can and cannot interact with and when is not clear at all. and everytime I misinterpret I had to sit through an unskippable round with long winded animations.

better UI and a skip button and I would switch back to a pos review no problem. The idea is nice and i would even appload that you made us figure it out with the character in the end. its great even. but it was so annoying for the reasons i wrote :(.

The Fight again Millenis is frustrating, as having to get those items, not die. And follow the same path 20 times over until you manage to beat her the first time. This restrics your abilty to build and create your character. Limiting the shops you can visit and thus restricting the gear the you can get. And now that I finally once managed to encouter her on Bjorn, it seems to be slightly different mechanic, but same process of having the follow the same steps fight the same battles over and over and over again.

And that is ontop of of how much I absolteuly despise every single class and playstyle of Bjorn.

The Vanadis v. Milanis fight is definitely atypical for the game, but the biggest problem was not the fight itself. It was the hint that was presented. A rune appears and a hand rises to click it. People come up with dozens of incorrect solutions -- tracing the rune is the most popular, but clicking that Rune, fast clicking it, click and hold, but there are dozens of creative solutions that involve not looking up to the flashing runes on the top of the screen. Monitors are HUGE now. Peripheral vision is never going to increase in size. The hint being so far from the solution puts the solution in the peripheral, where it barely registers as happening. In short: the Hint is terrible and off point. I have played dozens of these games, and I had to go online to find someone that had said some one thing that broke me out of trying to make that one example rune work to figure out I was clicking the wrong region of the screen. Create better hints if you pull this kind of thing again.
I absolutely loved the final fight. It was really surprising and I needed a few tries to understand it but that made it all the more epic.
I have enjoyed the different outlook of events with in the game each of the 3 characters in game. I also see why the fight with Millenis is different between each one of the characters. Thou I agree that the pacing is a bit fast for the Archer character. Personally I have a reading disability which has it's own struggles with all the characters. For me it takes time for me to read and understand the context with each one of the cards for their inter actions along with retaining that information until I have done the action for that card or read the card many times over. In the Millenis fight with the Archer this is a problem cause I only see some of the symbols maybe once or twice so it is hard for me to fully understand what these do for either the player or the boss. I was about 30 minutes for the first time till I was so upset why I was failing not finish the fight that I force closed the the game in order to be done with it cause the brief showing of the symbols had no meaning to me till I picked them and then at times it was not what I thought it was cause after the first discovery there was no way of telling what it was to know if I was picking the correct action. The symbols are only their so briefly that I am not able to consider correctly how to conduct the fight ask I would in the turn base manner leading up to the encounter with Millenis. Where I can take the my time to read what the cards do and make a judgement called based on the intention of the boss and what buffs the boss has or debuffs I am getting from the boss.

The option to skip this fight till something is sorted out is something I like and will more then likely use it moving forward to something can be sorted about the Milmenis fight. As it stands right now it's the only fight in the game I loath encountering and do not want to finish my story play If I am forced to go into this fight with it being so unbalanced not only on the Archer but also the other 2 characters. There have been times where I just force close the game when fighting Millenis cause the fight is just no fun.

stop crying, i bought the game, did 5 runs, killed the final boss and completed first character. not a big deal.:steamfacepalm:
The boss they are talking about is the "real millenis", the one where the battle changes completely and it's not turn based anymore.
